I am a US citizen and I want to get US and Israeli citizenship so I can serve in the IDF.  I am not Jewish though and I have no Jewish parents or any family relationship to Israel.

Go to the nearest Israel consulate and ask your question.

First, you can lose your US citizenship by participating in a foreign country's military.  Second Israel doesn't allow dual citizenship.

It it very difficult to get Israeli citizenship if you are not Jewish.  BTW, there are many Americans that have Israeli citizenship at the same time.
